Everybody Pilates Education provides a framework for successful, confident classical Pilates Teachers. Whether you are new to teaching or looking to upgrade your teaching skills and master your moves, we have the course for you!
We have created a series of courses that guide you through your practice and help you become confident and successful teachers. All of the courses have been developed from Amy’s experience of the classical system and her mentor and teachers, in particular Pilates Elder Jay Grimes, who has shaped and influenced her teaching style.

What is the Everybody Pilates Classical Mat Certification?
- Learn to teach all 34 Mat exercises as taught by Joseph Pilates
- Learn how to feel the exercises in your own body
- Learn how to modify the exercises for the body in front of you.
- Discover how the exercises on the Mat build part of a system of exercises in the Pilates Method.
- Everybody Pilates will guide you through Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced options for your participants.

What qualifications are needed?
No prior qualifications are required – just an enthusiasm for Pilates. However, it is recommended that you have practised Classical Pilates and show an understanding of the Intermediate mat practice. You may be required to assess into the course or participate in up to 10 private lessons.
How long is the course?
6 Days including assessment.

Comprehensive Certification
Introduction
Our comprehensive certification is a 12-14 month commitment to become the best teacher you can be. We will teach you all you need to know to feel confident and knowledgeable about the entire Classical Pilates system. You can sign up for the full course, or per module.

What qualifications are needed?
There are no set qualifications required – just an enthusiasm for Pilates. However, it is recommended that you have practised Classical Pilates and show an understanding of the Intermediate practice. You may be required to assess into the course or participate in up to 10 private lessons.
How long is the course?
12,5 contact Days with 1 Assessment Day and a 500-hour apprentice hour, commitment, including personal practice, teaching practice and observations.
Who is it suitable for?
The Full Comprehensive Programme is the complete training programme. Over the course of 6 training weekends and one workshop afternoon, spread out over roughly one year, you will learn to teach and practise all levels of exercises all across the studio, on both mat and all different studio apparatus, including the Reformer, Tower, Chairs and Barrels.
During this year we will train you to become an all-round Classical Pilates instructor who can confidently teach 1-1, duet, group classes as well as know about modifications and how to progress clients to the next levels.
You would start with the Fundamentals + Chairs & Barrels workshop which we run several times a year. After that you’d start your Beginner 2 weekend and continue from there.
With this training, you have to complete observation, self-practise and practise teaching hours.
How much is it?
You can sign up per individual module, or sign up for the complete course in one go.
- The cost for the Fundamentals weekend is €550
- The cost for the Chairs & Barrels Level 1 workshop is €250
- The cost for the Beginner 2 weekend is €1250
- The cost for module 2 and module 3 (one module consists of two training weekends) is €2000 per module
- If you sign up for the full course (including Fundamentals and the Chairs & Barrels workshop), the price is €5250
- If you have already completed or enrolled in the Fundamentals / Beginner 1 course, this money will be deducted from the total price of the full course.

Master Mentor Programme
Introduction
This programme runs in our Southsea studio only.
You’ve got your certificate and have been enjoying your teaching – now it’s time to thrive with a group of like-minded instructors as you join the Everybody Pilates Masters Programme.
Whether you are Classical or Contemporary trained, this programme will give you newfound confidence in your classical teaching. Designed to take you to the next level, Amy, who has the teachings of Pilates elder Jay Grimes as part of her skillset, will guide you through personal practice and upgrading your teaching skills.

What is the Everybody Pilates Master Mentor Programme?
- Familiarise yourself with the Classical System

- Discover how to progress clients to a more advanced level confidently
What qualifications are needed?
You must hold a comprehensive Qualification and have 2 years of teaching experience.
How long is the course?
12 contact Days over 12 months with 2 private lessons a month and 1 Group Class a month
Who is it suitable for?
Any comprehensively trained Instructor looking to fully emerge themselves in the Classical System and discover how good a teacher they can be!
How much is it?
£3600.00 for workshops £1900 for Privates and Classes, with payment plans available.

Bridge Certification
Introduction
If you have always wanted to complete your Classical Pilates Certification and feel that starting from the beginning is the best place for you, then join us for the Bridge programme in Maastricht!
Our Comprehensive Bridge Certification is a 12-14 month commitment to improve your skills with the Classical System. We will teach you all you need to know to feel confident and knowledgeable about the entire Classical Pilates System.

The Fundamentals + Chairs & Barrels Level 1 Workshop
Introduction
Everybody Pilates – Maastricht
The Fundamentals + Chairs & Barrels Level 1 Workshop
This is a 2-day training course, plus a 4-hour, separate, Chairs & Barrels workshop. This really is the best starting point in becoming a qualified Classical Pilates Instructor. In the two consecutive training days you will learn the fundamentals of Classical Pilates – basically the beginner 1 level exercises on the mat, reformer and tower. The Chairs & Barrels workshop completes the beginner 1 level training content.
Chairs & Barrels Level 1 Workshop
The Chairs and Barrels Level 1 workshop is a 4-hour training where you will learn to teach the Beginner 1 level Chair, Barrels and Spine Corrector exercises. This workshop can be taken as a stand-alone workshop for anyone (teachers and non-teachers) interested in learning more about these apparatus, but also is the perfect follow up if you have done your Fundamentals training weekend. After completing this, you can continue to the Full Comprehensive training course.
The combination of these two is the perfect starting point to start delving deeper into Pilates knowledge as a client or Pilates lover, but after passing your assessment you can also start teaching beginner level clients too. Besides these training days, you will also have to complete several hours of observation, self-practise and practise teaching, and an assessment, to receive your certification.
